CB Musings - Whats happening in market ??

With the new year break now well and truly forgotten, we are back into things in full swing. During this past week we have been very pleased to welcome a new supplier into our market enterprise, here in Whenuapai. This grower is producing a huge range of different lines, all in large grades, ideally complimenting the grade sizes we already offer our customers. The quality is outstanding, so if you are wanting to make instant impact at a very competitive price be prepared to be impressed !!

The range includes creeping groundcover varieties such as Thymus, Pratia, Rosmarinus prostrata, Acaena, Heterocentron and Coprosma Hawera. For the lovers of hardy natives, there is also a beautiful big grade of the ever popular, semi prostrate Coprosma repens 'Poor Knights' - perfect for draping over walls in those tough coastal spots.
The selection continues with big flowering grades of non invasive Agapanthus in blue and white and some lovely coloured flax cultivars to brighten up those dull corners.

Keeping with the bright colours, check out this lovely grade of Cordyline 'Pink Perfection' - a smallish cultivar reaching around 1.6m it will do well in full sun to part shade conditions but as with all of these cultivars , keep well fertilised to maximise the depth of colour. Next to it is a beautiful grade of Canna 'Cannova Red' - perfect for the instant look. There are also some excellent grades of native hedging such as Corokia 'Frosted Chocolate ' and the new cultivar Corokia 'Clover TG4' , so something for all design senario's. A selection of beautiful Hebes are also available including 'Wiri Cloud', Sutherlandii, 'Waireka' and diosmifolia. Along with these, there are many other lines on offer, so please come in and spend abit of time to take it all in, its worth it !!
